On-site processing is a challenging work, especially in the construction of large projects, there will be unexpected problems in the preliminary design and actual construction of the project.Last week,our customers encountered a difficult on-site problems that there are more than 100 shafts need to be machined. The length of the shaft needs to be machined off about 5mm, including re-chamfering.We offered our FE12 OD mounted flange facing machine to finish this work.The end face of the shaft can be machined easily with our standard tool post and inserts.In order to finish the chamfer, we customized a special tool holder and provided some special chamfering tools within 3 days.Our customers repaired the shaft in time and gave us good work feedback.
