Maria Sakkari is a Greek tennis champion of international scope, who currently holds the 4th place in the world ranking and is considered the best Greek tennis player of all time.
She was born on July 25, 1995 in Athens. Her mother, Angeliki Kanellopoulou, was also a tennis player with a career record No. 43. At the age of 18 she moved to Barcelona for four years. In 2017 she returned to Athens. Sakkari now lives in Monte Carlo.
