As with its Air Jordan 4 collaboration, the team over at UNION likely have a well-thought-out, personal story behind this and the accompanying “Rattan/Siren Red/Beach/Orange Peel”-colored pair, but it hasn’t been disclosed yet. What’s certain, however, is that the streetwear pioneer has been purposeful with its joint-efforts, sourcing quality materials and developing compelling campaigns for its offerings’ roll-outs. The newly-surfaced Jordan 2, with its vibrant blue accents, faded detailing and other untraditional components, is no different from projects before it and projects that’ll come after.
This new Union x Air Jordan 2 comes constructed in a mix of nylon and suede with added perforations on the overlays. The bulk of the model’s upper is dipped in a light grey tone that takes on varying shades across suede and canvas materials. Perforations across the profiles inject new design D.N.A. into Bruce Kilgore’s creation, as do the Air Jordan 13-like “dimples” along the ankle panels. Additional details includes UN/LA tags and an added lateral ankle tag. Exposed-foam tongues with co-branded tongue tags, insoles and special boxes completes the design.
This Supreme X Nike Air Force 1 Low White takes a less-is-more approach in design and is part of the “World Famous” streetwear brand’s Spring/Summer 2020 collaboration with Nike.the shoe is comprised of an all-white leather upper with matching soles and detailing. A red Supreme Box Logo placed on the outside heel and alternate red branded 3M laces complete the design.A silver “AF1” emblem covers the bottom of the laces near the perforated toe, while tonal Nike Air branding on the tongue tab and heel complete the look.
