How do you actually get permission to visit Landfall Island Wildlife Sanctuary?

I keep seeing Landfall Island Wildlife Sanctuary mentioned as one of the most remote and untouched spots in the Andamans, right at the northern tip near Diglipur. From what I've read it's got dense tropical forest and a coastline that's barely touched by tourism, which sounds incredible, but I can't find clear info on how regular travellers actually arrange a visit. Is it strictly permit-based through the forest department, or do most people just view it from a boat without landing? If anyone here has been to North Andaman and tried to include this sanctuary in their itinerary, I'd love to hear how you organised it and whether it's worth the extra travel time from Port Blair.
