There are many funny and strange news stories that happened lately. Here are six of them that I found interesting:

• -A horse that was being transported on a cargo jet to Belgium escaped from its crate and caused the plane to return to New York. The horse was sedated and secured by veterinarians before the flight resumed1.
• -A British man got a nasty surprise when he found out that a **wolf spider** had laid eggs in his toe during a romantic cruise with his girlfriend. He had to undergo surgery to remove the spider and its offspring from his foot.
• -A woman on a flight from London to Turkey threatened to **pee in the plane aisle** after she was refused access to the bathroom during take-off. She was filmed arguing with the cabin crew and saying she had a weak bladder.
• -A couple who stole a bag of shopping from a supermarket in Australia will be very disappointed when they open it and find out that it contains **a colonoscopy kit**⁴. The bag belonged to a woman who had just bought it from a pharmacy and left it in her trolley while she went to get some bread.
• -A cinema audience in New York erupted into cheers after spotting the same man’s name for almost every role in a low-budget movie. The film, called **The VelociPastor**, was written, directed, edited, and produced by **Brendan Steere**, who also played the roles of the priest, the dinosaur, the ninja, and the car.
• -A journalist in Mexico brought back his controversial theory that **non-human beings** were found in Peru and presented them to the lower chamber of the congress. He claimed that the mummified remains, which he called **extraterrestrials**, had DNA that did not match any known species on  ? earth
