Other details includes “Wild” tongue branding completed with Nike’s hiking character on the insoles.Then, to align further with the All Conditions Gear ethos, the insole bears warming fur and the sub-label’s friendly mascot.
This OFF-WHITE x Mens Air Jordan 4 Retro SP was originally previewed as a sample at Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibit at MCA Chicago. The Air Jordan 4 Sail features full-grain leather uppers with hits of mesh and translucent materials on the toebox and heel of the shoe. From there, hits of light blue on the tongue’s Jumpman and the outsole’s Nike Swoosh provide contrast to the sail colored sneaker.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG J Balvin shoe's upper is constructed from canvas, which is dipped in a rainbow palette and seemingly haphazardly trimmed. Rounded ankle flaps and jagged-edges throughout, however, represent Balvin’s energy. Elsewhere, the artist’s smiley-face logo replaces standard Jumpman branding on the left shoe’s tongue; it also arrives in patch-form alongside interchangeable Jumpman, basketball and lightning bolt options that enable wearers to express themselves uniquely. Rounding out the pair, sole units opt into an uncommon pink arrangement further inspired by Balvin’s design approach and names of his last two albums: “colores” and “vibras” (“colors” and “vibes”).
