The number is a world record for a women's game in all sports. The previous United States record for a women's sporting event is the 90,185 who filled the Rose Bowl to watch the 1999 World Cup final between the United States and China.
The previous world record was set when Barcelona hosted Wolfsburg in April 2022 in a Women's Champions League match with 91,648 fans in attendance.
