Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has recreated Stardew Valley's iconic farm in honor of both the wholesome social simulator games and the Animal Crossing series.
The peaceful farmhouse from Stardew Valley is brought into Animal Crossing: New Horizons through the use of tools introduced in Happy Home Paradise in an exceptionally wholesome crossover. Both simulation games provide players with access to a plot of land on which they can build and manage their own community, resulting in a delightfully open-ended experience. Numerous gamers have drawn parallels between Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with ConcernedApe's indie title and Nintendo's AAA title sharing similar gameplay, in addition to a very peaceful and relaxing tone.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which will be released in 2020, is the latest installment in Nintendo's long-running social simulation series. A remote tropical island serves as the setting for the game's action, and the players are tasked with establishing a complete community, complete with non-player characters to meet and an abundance of resources to gather. Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows players to personalize their homes and islands, resulting in a unique gaming experience for each individual who plays it. In addition to seasonal events that introduce new activities and items, a recent large update introduced a bevy of new options for players. A new update and DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, titled Happy Home Paradise, was released in November, adding even more content to the game for players to explore.
Reddit user mabelsapron has transformed an Animal Crossing: New Horizons home into the farm from the Stardew Valley DLC by utilizing resources from the DLC's Happy Home Paradise expansion. In the cozy crossover, the indie title's typical farm layout is faithfully recreated, with the two-story house sporting a recognizable slate roof and a side shed. In Stardew Valley, different crops are laid out in square sections to reflect the 8-bit art style used in the game. However, while the graphics clearly distinguish the build from Stardew Valley, mabelsapron has worked hard to make the recreation as close to the original as is physically possible.
Developer Eric ConcernedApe Barone recently announced the release of a new upcoming game titled Haunted Chocolatier, which follows the success of the 2016 release of Stardew Valley. Players will be tasked with running their very own chocolate shop while also exploring a unique town and battling against ghosts in order to obtain materials in the highly anticipated title. Many aspects of Stardew Valley and Haunted Chocolatier appear to be similar, such as a focus on quiet small-town life and the need to battle creatures in order to gather materials for the game. However, it is expected that Haunted Chocolatier will also evolve many of Stardew Valley's mechanics, including the sales process, social interactions, and combat mechanics, among others.
