The 71st Miss Universe 2022 beauty pageant was held on Sunday (15/01, Greek time) in New Orleans and the coveted crown was won by Miss USA.
The 28-year-old R'Bonney Gabriel, who also hails from the Philippines, is the oldest person crowned in the history of the beauty pageant, sending a message about age limits both in the pageant and in the fashion industry in general.
The 28-year-old fashion designer, model and sewing teacher from Texas - was crowned Miss Universe, in a result described as a surprise.
