Product Description of Vacuum Blood Collection Tube
It is used for the collection and dressing of blood samples in biochemistry, immunology, serology, various virus detection and blood bank testing in medical testing. The tube wall is specially treated to prevent wall hanging and hemolysis; it is both a blood collection tube and a detection tube.
Complete blood clotting time: ≤2.5h
Limit centrifugal speed: 3500-4000 rpm
Operating ambient temperature: ±10%
Operation precautions: When the blood collection does not reach the specified blood collection volume, please clear the vacuum in the tube.
Precautions for 5ml Vacuum blood vessel collection mold
1. Blood cultures are preferred at all times
2. Venipuncture is performed after the disinfected area is air-dried
3. After the blood is drawn until the vacuum in the vacuum tube is exhausted, the blood flow will stop. After the blood is drawn, it must be reversed and mixed according to the requirements, so that the anticoagulant and the blood can be fully mixed. Do not shake violently to avoid hemolysis.
4. The blood volume is drawn to the scale line, otherwise the ratio of specimen to anticoagulant will be improper, or insufficient specimen absorption will affect the test result.
5. Avoid taking blood samples on the same side of the infusion to avoid blood dilution.
Classification and additives of 5ml Vacuum blood vessel collection mold
1. Basic classification of blood samples: blood samples are divided into three types: whole blood, plasma and serum.
Whole blood is composed of liquid plasma and blood cells.
The pale yellow liquid separated by centrifugation of whole blood with anticoagulant is called plasma.
The light yellow liquid without fibrinogen that is separated from whole blood without anticoagulant or after adding coagulant is called serum.
Whole blood contains blood cells and their formed components, as well as a variety of physiological substances and metabolites.
2. Vacuum blood collection tubes are divided into three categories: self-coagulation tubes, anti-coagulation tubes and separation gel-promoting tubes. Commonly used anticoagulants are sodium citrate, EDTA-K2, heparin, etc. According to different test items, the selection of appropriate anticoagulants is crucial to the accuracy of test results.
1. Preparatory work
This is the most important part of performing any procedure and is usually done before blood collection begins.
2. Choose the right place
Whether blood collection is performed on outpatients or inpatients, it should be performed in a quiet, clean, well-lit area.
3. Quality control
Quality assurance is an important part of infection prevention and control during optimal blood collection. It helps minimize surprises. The elements of quality assurance are listed in Table 2.1 and explain why they are important.
Common problems in the use of 5ml Vacuum blood vessel collection mold
The vacuum blood collection tube is a kind of vacuum negative pressure blood collection tube. The extensive use of automated instruments and the preservation of blood have put forward higher requirements on the stability of the original characteristics of the blood sample. The performance indicators such as properties, original properties of specimens, maintenance time, tube-machine coordination, and test tube strength can be used as the basis for evaluating the quality of vacuum blood collection tubes.
1. Hemolysis
Reason: The negative pressure of the vacuum tube is relatively large. At the beginning of blood collection, the blood flows into the bottom of the tube quickly. The collision of red blood cells can cause rupture, and hemolysis is occasionally seen in clinical practice.
Measures: When collecting blood samples, tilt the needle on the side of the two-way blood collection needle to make it close to the side wall of the blood collection tube, and the blood flows down slowly along the tube wall to avoid rupture caused by direct impact of red blood cells.
2. Blood leakage
Reason: The latex sheath at the end of the two-way blood collection needle is loose or the needle sticks out of the latex sheath, so that the two-way blood collection needle is not tightly sealed. During venipuncture, blood leaks along the end of the blood collection tube of the bidirectional blood collection needle.
Measures: Check and fasten the latex sheath before blood collection. If the needle sticks out, reinsert the needle to maintain its airtightness.
3. Poor blood flow
Reason: The puncture needle is attached to the blood vessel wall or there is no negative pressure in the blood collection tube.
Measures: Under the premise of ensuring the success of venipuncture, adjust the direction of the needle until the blood flows into the blood collection tube. If it is invalid, replace the blood collection tube.
4. Insufficient blood collection
Reason: Insufficient negative pressure in blood collection tube
Measures: pierce the needle of the syringe from the rubber stopper of the blood collection tube, and suck the air in the blood collection tube to form a negative pressure to collect the blood sample. When the original blood volume is low, the blood collection tube can be replaced directly.
5. The puncture needle is prolapsed
Reason: caused by mechanical traction, especially when multiple blood collection tubes are used for blood collection.
Measures: When using more blood collection tubes at a time, pay attention to effective fixation; when replacing blood collection tubes, the movement range should be small to prevent the needle from protruding and increasing the pain of the patient.
