For Air Max 270, Going back to the early years of Michael Jordan’s professional basketball career, Jordan Brand is now set to bring back the Air Jordan 2 OG “Chicago.” Serving as a retro of the original 1986 release, the shoe coming during the Holiday 2022 season features the classic “White/Black/Varsity Red” color scheme.The upcoming retro will include all of its original details from its 1986 aesthetic. Early reports claim that the pair comes crafted from the same premium materials, which were first introduced back in the mid-80s. Its higher cut uppers are layered in white with black trimming across the laces, followed by hints of red on the tongue and heel. Concluding the pair is Nike and Jumpman labeling on the heel and tongue. The sneaker is set to return in true OG form with OG packaging, Wings logo hangtag, and a booklet to accompany the sneaker.
The Air Jordan 2 OG “Chicago” features uppers constructed of a mix of smooth and lizard skin-like white leather accented by contrasting black and red at the rear. Further detailing comes in the form of Wings motifs at the tongue, black laces and matching sockliners. Branding is continued with “NIKE” markings at the rear, “23” tags at the back of the tongue and printed insoles. The shoes come complete with black insoles, white/red rubber outsoles and originals Wings shoeboxes.

The piping along the ankle, then, deviates in its white finish, which closely matches the coloring of the both the midsole and heel pull. And the latter, as is typical, is accented with a dotted red line, completing an appropriately faithful recreation of what is arguably adidas Yeezy’s best creation.
