These are the so-called jetpacks, backpack-sized devices that allow the user to move… while flying. The Australian company CopterPack built a new type of such device which it named after the company. As its name implies, it is a device that operates with propellers and in essence functions as an μικό individual helicopter. Jetpacks use gaseous fuel to run while CopterPack is powered by a battery.

The first test of the CopterPack was performed with the pilot climbing to a height of about 15 meters and making various movements for about sixty seconds before landing again without any problems in the whole process. At present the company does not provide information on the technical characteristics of the device regarding its design, speed, autonomy, etc.

It is a given that very soon jetpacks will be created that will be ready to use but people will also want to experience the Ironman experience. The question that will arise from now on is whether and what kind of flight permit will be required for the use of these devices.
