Union Los Angeles and Buy The Sneaker will release two new Air Jordan 4 collaborations. Launching during Summer 2021, both pairs will celebrate the boutique's 30th Anniversary. Both have a similar build to last year's Union x Air Jordan 4 releases, while these "30th Anniversary" pairs comes constructed in a mix of mesh and suede with translucent wings returning. Also, they come with frontman branding hangtags that have 1991-2021, celebrating the 30th Anniversary and in the shape of a road sign. Lastly, we have co-branding on the insoles, Blue within the Air unit, and Sail on the midsole and rubber outsole, which finishes the look.
The Air Jordan 4 may be one of the most coveted Jordan silhouettes that don't get the number of releases it deserves. While the Jordan 1 and 5 have been seen taking over the 2021 lineup, AJ4 mock-up have been scarce compared to other silhouettes, but this new Olive colorway is a good sign for the sneaker. One pair features a Desert Moss/Turquoise Blue-Dark Iris color theme while the second comes dressed in Taupe Haze/Blue Fury-Khaki-Roma Green. Co-branded insoles atop a Sail rubber sole completes the designs. What has changed for the 30th Anniversary iteration is the colorway. Featuring a mixture of mesh and suede with translucent wings. The signature "UN/LA" label is spotted on the lateral side and its folded stitched tongue, which you can cut for a standard look.
Jordan Release 2020, Rumored to be under 40 in existence, this Air Jordan 5 is one of the most rare of the series and comes dressed in a Grey custom elephant printed suede. This upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low feasters a Light Blue suede upper with White leather overlays debossed in a grid-like pattern. Other details includes a Metallic Silver Swoosh, Yellow covering the sockliner, tongue and heel panel completed with FTC branding on the heels atop an icy Blue outsole. Dressed in a White, Lagoon Pulse, Metallic Silver, and Speed Yellow color scheme. Blue inner lining atop a White rubber sole completes the design.
