Most aerospace concepts include propellers or propellers somewhere on the fuselage to take the boat off, but Jetoptera's J-2000 differs in that it uses a special propulsion system called FPS (fluidic propulsion systems).

The aircraft will have a maximum take-off weight of 907 kg and Jetoptera is planning a whole "family" of aircraft, which will include aircraft designed for speeds of 644 km / h with a range of 644 km, as well as smaller versions with lower speeds but longer range. It is still in the prototype phase, while the company estimates that it is very likely that there will be contracts with the US Armed Forces.
