Lemonakia Beach, Samos
This picturesque beach on the Island of Samos is tucked into a small bay, with a lush pine forest as a backdrop. The crystal-clear turquoise waters are calm and shallow.
The downside of this beach is the pebble shoreline, but that doesn't take away from the joys of sunbathing and swimming.
The beach gets very crowded in high season but is well prepared to welcome visitors. Facilities include a traditional Greek taverna and rentals of sun beds and umbrellas.
