Gold Medal Swim School was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to teach children the joy and skills of swimming from the ground up, in a fun and supportive environment. Established by Mike Troy, a 2x Olympian, and led by Mike Walker, a 2x Olympic Coach, the school has grown from humble beginnings to become a top destination for swimmers of all ages.

The journey started in a small, industrial building with a pool that could easily be mistaken for a bathtub. Despite the modest setting, the focus was always on providing the best possible instruction for young swimmers. From the very beginning, Gold Medal Swim School embraced a unique approach—prioritizing the needs and safety of the kids while fostering a love for swimming.

With the motto "If we do what is best for the kids, the business will always work out," the foundation of the swim school was built on trust, passion, and the belief that teaching swimming should be as much about fun and enjoyment as it is about skill development.
