Our care workers are s****ed and competent, that's right. But what we're also hiring for is attitude. Someone that's not in a rush, someone that will sit and listen, someone that will respect the individual as an adult. Someone who can follow the person's routine, rather than enforce their own. Someone who can tell you what they are going to do before they do it. That's the standard.
