Launch of Path of Building 2

After several postponements, Path of Building 2 has officially launched for Path of Exile 2!

This new application, developed exclusively for Path of Exile 2, comes from localidentity and his team.

We're also excited to share that PoB2 will be hosted on maxroll , marking the beginning of our collaboration with the PoB team.

Path of Building 2 (PoB2) marks the latest evolution of the character-building tool initially crafted for Path of Exile 1.

In the early stages of Path of Exile 1's beta, players faced significant challenges in optimizing their builds.

Questions like "How does stacking physical damage enhance the fire damage from Burning Arrow?" arose frequently until the programmer Openarl stepped in with the inaugural version of Path of Building.

As PoB gained traction, it quickly became the go-to resource for theorycrafting within the Path of Exile community.

After several years, Openarl transitioned to a new role at Grinding Gear Games, leaving PoB in need of updates despite its popularity.

This gap was filled by LocalIdentity around five years ago, who introduced a community fork of Path of Building, ensuring its continued development with assistance from his team and dedicated community members.

Since then, numerous features have been added, enhancing its functionality and calculation capabilities.

With the advent of early access for Path of Exile 2, the PoB team has been diligently working on a brand-new build crafting tool, PoB2.

This application stands alone, much like its predecessor, and is designed for ongoing growth and improvement.

We are excited to announce our partnership with the PoB team to host PoB2 on Maxroll .

This collaboration allows users to seamlessly export their builds from PoB2 directly to the Maxroll website for easy sharing via URL.

Note: Users can continue to host their PoB builds on any other third-party sites that support PoB2.
