For many players, the Military Loadout sounds better than it actually feels in practice. The ****s are strong, sure, but Fort Zancudo can turn a short preparation job into a long, messy run. If you are building a reliable crew around the Kortz Center Heist, having GTA 5 **** with useful vehicles, armour, and weapon upgrades can make the decision easier. The real question is not whether this loadout has the best equipment. It is whether that extra firepower is worth the trouble.
Choose the Route That Fits Your Playstyle
The Unmarked Weapons setup begins at the planning board in the Mansion's Art Studio. You can choose Street, Security, or Military. The Security option is often the sensible pick because it gives the crew capable weapons without sending everyone into a military base. Players who enjoy a proper assault, though, may still prefer Military. It offers a Military Rifle, Assault Shot****, Stun ****, Tactical SMG, Sticky Bomb, and Knife. With the Mansion Armory upgrade, a silenced Heavy Sniper Mk II is added as well.
Getting Through Fort Zancudo
Take an Armored Kuruma if you have one. It is not glamorous, but it keeps incoming fire manageable and lets you return fire from inside the car. Drive towards the control tower, then deal with the guards near the entrance. Do not waste time trying to clear the entire base. You only need a path into the building and up to the weapon locker. Keep your armour topped up, because the interior can become dangerous very quickly.
The Tower and Security Terminal
Inside the tower, clear the ground floor and look for the elevator down the hall. The stairs work, but they leave you exposed and take longer. When the lift opens, expect another guard or two nearby. On the upper floor, reach the security terminal and match the four nodes on the left with the open nodes on the right. You get four attempts for each node and four minutes for the whole task, so do not rush into random connections.
Bring the Armored Kuruma and refill health and armour before entering.
Use the elevator instead of taking the exposed stair route.
Collect the weapons, clear the server room, and erase the CCTV records.
Remove the backup drive before leaving the tower.
Leaving the Base With the Weapons
After collecting the duffel bag, enter the nearby server room, deal with any remaining guards, and remove the backup drive from the rack. More enemies may appear on the way out, so take the elevator down and return to the Kuruma quickly. Drive away from Fort Zancudo rather than stopping to fight. Once the wanted level disappears, deliver the bag to the Mansion in Vinewood.
