Poison Flurry Rogue is one of Diablo 4 Season 14's most aggressive endgame builds. It turns a familiar melee s**** into a risky health-burning machine, with the Deathmask of Nirmitruq at the centre of everything. If you're sorting through D4 items, this helm should be your first serious target. The build is quick, unforgiving and surprisingly technical. You can clear packs in seconds, but one careless resource decision can leave you with no Energy, no Life and nowhere safe to stand.
How the Core Mechanic Works
Deathmask of Nirmitruq changes Flurry when your Energy reaches zero. Instead of spending Energy, the s**** consumes three percent of your maximum Life per cast. In return, Flurry gains a huge multiplicative damage increase, up to 97.5 percent, plus 50 percent Attack Speed for five seconds. You don't want to refill Energy too quickly. That sounds odd at first, but it's the whole point. A larger Energy pool can help between fights, while extra regeneration may actually weaken the build during combat.
The Combat Rhythm
Most encounters start with Dark Shroud and Smoke Grenade. The first gives you a layer of protection, while the second grants stealth and activates several damage bonuses. Cast Poison Imbuement, then hold Flurry and weave in Dash whenever the battlefield shifts. Shadow Clone **** your attacks and, with the right aspect, applies poison as well. You'll quickly notice that the best runs feel less like a rotation and more like controlled momentum. Keep moving, keep attacking, and don't let the poison window drop.
Build priority Why it matters
Life recovery Keeps Deathmask from ****ing you
Attack Speed Improves Flurry until the cap is reached
Energy control Maintains the health-cost effect
Poison scaling Raises damage over time and Imbuement output
Survival, Gear and Charms
Life recovery isn't optional here. Siphoning Strikes is usually the safest choice because Lucky Hits can restore a percentage of your maximum Life. Undying is another workable option, especially while gearing. Crushing helps provide Fortification. Asheara's Khanjar supplies valuable Attack Speed, but watch the 100 percent cap; Deathmask already gives half of that bonus. Shrouded Gift improves Smoke Grenade's defensive value, while Sea Lord's Fine Gloves offer more room in your Energy pool without forcing faster regeneration.
Paragon Path and Movement
Blurring Blade Charms make the build feel properly wild. Their five-piece bonus can make the next Agility s**** free after a Cutthroat backstab, stacking up to three times. That is how the Rogue keeps Dashing through dense areas without losing pace. For damage, Efficacy, Cheap Shot and Versatility are strong early choices. Leyrana's Instinct supports Flurry, while Tracker and **** Weakness improve poison damage, resistances and Vulnerability. With sensible healing and cheap D4 items filling the gaps in your setup, the build can push hard without turning every pack into a gamble.
